A's Fan Falls During Amateur Hour at The Coliseum

When a foul ball is headed your direction, most fan's instincts are to simply reach for it - maybe even jump a little. This guy, however, completely sacrificed his face to the concrete gods. For a foul ball. That he didn't even catch. Plus his Oakland Athletics ended up losing 6-4 to the Cleveland Indians.

It's alright to laugh because apparently the fan is okay and... it's hilarious. Welcome to internet fame, guy who bit it at The Coliseum on Wednesday.

Ryan Braun: The Cheese to Our Macaroni

In light of Ryan Braun's successful appeal and avoidance of a pesky 50-game suspension for a failed drug test, we'd like to present to you Part Four of Nine More Outs' Stadium Shmadium Tour. This time they've headed to Milwaukee to see what it's really like to be a Brewers fan. Enjoy!

David Price Gets Mildly Pissed at Stranger Urinating on his Car

(Terrible pun fully intended)

David Price got a nice surprise on Friday as he exited 717 South restaurant in Tampa, Fl. where he was serving as a guest bartender at a charity event when he found either a deranged individual or New York Yankees fan taking a whiz on his vehicle.

The man was also taken by surprise and actually took a swing at the Rays lefty when he was done peeing on the ace's car door. Luckily, Price ducked the punch and was unscathed in the disgusting event. He had this to say regarding the matter:

"I was relieved with how it turned out."

Ah, funny guy. But seriously, what the hell is wrong with people?

Speaking of the Rays and people doing stupid shit, former Tampa Bay outfielder Manny Ramirez has been officially reinstated by Major League Baseball. All he has to do now is find a team who wants to deal with his shenanigans, serve his reduced 50-game suspension, and play ball.

Albert Pujols Gives St. Louis Cardinals Fans Some Kindling Other than His Jersey

After one hot mess of a woman was recorded setting her Albert Pujols jersey on fire in her bathrobe on Thursday, I'm sure many other distraught St. Louis Cardinals fans followed suit. However, the former face of the franchise has given them some new kindling for their burning pleasure: a heartfelt open letter via the newspaper.

Upon leaving the only team he has ever known in favor of sunnier skies and a 10-year, $254 million contract, Pujols (who stated in 2009 that "money isn't everything") demanded the attention of Cardinal Nation one last time. Along with his loving wife Deidre, he took out this full page ad on Friday in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

St. Louis Woman Sets Fire to Albert Pujols Jersey in Her Bathrobe

This woman has more serious issues than being sad about Albert Pujols leaving her beloved St. Louis Cardinals for sunnier skies and millions of dollars this morning. According to her camera-wielding son, it was 9:48am on a Thursday and she was still in her bathrobe. Get your life together, lady.

Red Sox and Rays Both Victorious, Wild Card Still Tied

If you watched any of the Boston Red Sox game against the Baltimore Orioles Tuesday night, we hope you caught the Adam Jones at bat in the bottom of the ninth inning with two out and a man on second. What an attention whore.

After ten agonizing pitches, Jonathan Papelbon eventually got Jones to ground out on a slider and end the game. The 8-7 victory, combined with the Tampa Bay Rays' 5-3 win over the New York Yankees, allowed the Red Sox to stay alive another day in the American League Wild Card hunt.

Boston went yard four times in the evening, including two homers off the bat of adorable rookie catcher Ryan Lavarnway. The Yale philosophy major who never even played a big league game before this August, nailed a three-run shot in the fourth before adding a solo shot for good measure to give his team an 8-4 lead in the eighth. The O's tried to rally late in the game, but Papelboner was having none of that.

The Red Sox will send workhorse Jon Lester to the mound on three days' rest to face Alfredo Simon in the season finale Wednesday night in an effort to punch their fourth ticket to the postseason in five years.

Tony La Russa is Being a Big Baby

Apparently, Tony La Russa has never been to Detroit.

The St. Louis Cardinals manager said Tuesday that the heckling he and his team experienced in Milwaukee during their 8-7, 11-inning victory that night was completely out of control. One fan went as far as to tell him he hoped he would get shingles, which he suffered from for a couple months at the beginning of the season. That's wasn't so nice I guess.

As a result, Miller Park security kicked out several fans near St. Louis’ dugout during the game. La Russa had this to say after the ordeal:

Fan Rushes Safeco Field to Shake Ichiro's Hand

I'm not sure when people are going to learn, but this guy obviously didn't get the memo about the amazing security at Safeco Field.

Of the four fans who ran onto the field at different times Sunday during the Seattle Mariners' 7-1 loss to the New York Yankees, the (third) dumbass made it almost all the way to Ichiro Suzuki in right before getting laid out. Plus, this guy was fully clothed, so I don't see the point.

Evan Longoria and David Price are Not Impressed With Rays Fans

David Price and Evan Longoria are not impressed. And rightfully so.

The Tampa Bay Rays 4-0 loss to the Baltimore Orioles Monday wasn't half as disappointing as the plethora of empty seats -- a crowd of 12,446 -- in St. Petersburg, Florida. A good team who's on the verge of a playoff berth should have no problem putting asses in the seats no matter who they're playing, right?

Apparently not.

Matt Diaz Will Clobber You

Holy smokes, it's been a while huh. That was a fabulous vacation, but man did I miss you guys.

Anyways, what better way to get back into the biz than with a Youtube video of Matt Diaz clobbering a fan who ran out onto the field in, where else... Philadelphia.

Nice Work, Camden Yards Security

I'm pretty impressed with the Camden Yards security from Thursday during the Orioles game against the Minnesota Twins.

This kid was allowed to run around the ballpark for so long that he eventually surrendered due to boredom after covering every inch of the field.

Thanks for the tip Shannon!

Stay Classy, Philadelphia

Fans running onto the field.

Grown men vomiting all over little girls... on purpose.

And now, finally, little boys slamming beers.

It's been an exciting season so far at Citizen's Bank park, and one can only wonder what is coming next. Whatever it is, I hope to see it reenacted on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Get Off the Damn Ballfield, Hoodlums

What the hell is up with Philadelphia Phillies fans lately?

Monday, a fan ran onto the field at Citizen's Bank Park and was immediately tased by security. Obviously, this prompted another man to rush the field the very next night. Was he hoping to be tased? I hear the majority of folks who do get the taser end up wetting themselves. That is not attractive. Maybe he wanted to become famous via Youtube... or just be retweeted.

ALCS: That Game Was Ridiculous

Holy smokes, now that was a poorly-managed ball game.

The Los Angeles Angels kept their World Series dreams alive for one more night, coming away with a 7-6 win over the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the ALCS Thursday night in what turned out to be a helluva baseball game.

Another One Bites the Dust for the Mets

Poor Mets fans...It looks like it's going to get much, much worse for the New York Mets before it gets any better.

Adding to their laundry list of injuries this season, Johan Santana will need surgery to remove bone chips from his left elbow, putting an end to his fantastic season. This marks player #12 to hit the disabled list for the Mets this season.

The two-time Cy Young Award winner is expected to be ready to pitch again this spring, which is pretty good news considering he still has four seasons left on his gigantic $137.5 million contract. Santana is 13-9 with a nice 3.13 ERA and 146 strikeouts over 25 starts in his second season with the team.

The Real Wrigley Alcohol Abuser Turns Himself In

HAha

Well, at least he did the right thing for a change, since the idiot security folk got the wrong guy.

After Shane Victorino filed a police report Thursday (not sure how I feel about that move) the dumbass who poured an $8.50 beer, timed to perfection, atop the Philadelphia Phillies centerfielder's head turned himself into authorities.
