Hank Steinbrenner: Stop Talking Please

Hank Steinbrenner is in the news once again thanks to the large orphus he calls his mouth.

During a telephone interview with the Associated Press Monday night, Hank said he feels steroids are a bigger problem in the NFL, based on the size and speed of the players. He added that he doesn't like baseball "being singled out" and wondered why no one is looking into the NFL.

While that is a fabulous point, it's a bit tactless at the moment. In the wake of the remorseful apology on behalf of Andy Pettitte and the half-assed admittance of a distraction by not Eric Gagne, but the Mitchell Report itself, the last thing Junior needs to do is discount what has become a serious problem in the game.

Orphus. That's hot.

The irony -- the one time Hank Steinbrenner says something I can agree with (football has the bigger steroids problem), he does it at the worst possible time.

Exactly. It's just unfortunate.

great quote today by one of the ESPN talking heads: Hank Steinbrenner has proved that Paris Hilton is not the only child of a millionaire who should learn to keep their mouth shut.
