Adam Dunn Reportedly Signs with White Sox
All the good "Dunn Deal" puns have been used, so I'm just gonna lay this one out for you.
According to Ken Rosenthal and just about everyone else on Twitter, Adam Dunn has agreed to join the Chicago White Sox on a four-year, $56 million deal.
The free agent first baseman, who spent the last two seasons with the Washington Nationals before declining arbitration, is probably grinning ear-to-ear with the thought of smashing longballs out of U.S. Cellular Field, a notorious hitter's park.
Also, joining an actual contender as a part-time first baseman and monster designated hitter is also likely making him smile.
The 31-year-old slugger batted .260 last season with 38 homers for the Nationals, who are in the process of rebuilding their team with younger, talented players, some of whom smear an insane amount of eye black all over their faces.
There are also rumors that the Sox are close to a deal with Paul Konerko. Having both guys on the roster will be expensive, but definitely worth the money.
Update: Dunn is scheduled for a physical Friday morning, according to Jerry Crasnick.

Ken Rosenthal... I always chuckle when I read that guy's name. He's so tiny!
This is a huge move for my White Sox. Hopefully they'll be able to keep Paulie around too!
The Twins not chasing after him makes me think Morneau will definitely be good to go by Spring!
