I've heard conflicting reports. PED, "sexual enhancer," etc. Whether or not he took it to boost testosterone after it was depleted from PED, or that his doctor prescribed it, doesn't matter. He's a big boy and he knows he's going to be tested during the season. Deal with the consequences.
Just once; once, I want to hear one of these asshats take responsibility, instead of insulting our intelligence with some lame "the devil made me do it" excuse.
@Unholy Diver: Amen to that! I seem to recall another outfielder with a questionable work ethic and a hyperinflated ego who claimed he never "knowingly" took any banned substances, and look where he wound up.
The thing that irks me most is that I just had to explain to my 10yo son how Manny is suspended because he "took something that might've been used to mask the fact that he took something else and it gave him some side effects." It's a little early to be explaining the specifics of ED to my boy!

On the bright side for the Dodgers.. they don't have to pay him for the 50 games he's missing. They're saving about 7 or 8 million.. Maybe they can buy some dignity with that extra cash? Or a short bus to get Manny to the games from now on? Either one would probably be a good investment.
