I got that email. It was funny how they went to great lengths to explain how amazing the four new prospects could be someday, comparing this trade with Rick Aguilera and Kevin Tapani from the Mets.
Whoa, he does look like Tom Arnold. And apparently, he's just as intelligent.
Fair, hell no!
I'll take it though, since I'm tired of watching him shut the tigers out at least twice a year.
Just bear with me. I'm almost done passive/aggressively bitching about this deal.
Fair? Yes- the trade was perfectly fair. Nobody cheated or broke any rules. It's just that Smith is terminally stupid and/or was plain out-negotiated.
Now if the question was: "Was the trade fair to Twins fans?" the answer would have to be no.
Be careful using 'fair' and 'legal' synonymously. They are not the same. Remember, until just a few years ago, hGH was 'legal', but never was it 'fair'.
Sooze, if you ever want to get together and passive/aggressively bitch at length while drowning our misery in copious amounts of alcohol, give me a call. I'm growing tired of drinking alone and I'm nearly out of tissues.
*sniffle*
You've got yourself a date SuperGoddess.
dave's probably been taking tips from kevin mcfrankenstein over on the other side of downtown.

I'll be up there for the home opener! We need to hook up for sure. Something tells me we're gonna have to set up a BLB field trip one of these days...
