Who are you guys and what have you done with the San Diego Padres?
It didn't matter that their manager and starting catcher had been tossed on Memorial Day, the Padres found a way to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-7 and stretch their out-of-the-blue winning streak to ten games.
One big hit after another was capped by a 10th-inning Chase Headley two-run rip that helped his team rally from a six-run deficit with just two innings to play. Snapping an 11-game road losing streak, the Pads trailed 7-1 before scoring five in the eighth, one in the ninth and two more in extra baseball thanks to Headley.
"It’s just the best feeling in the world," said the 25-year-old left fielder. "You go up there and you get a big hit in a big situation and it ends up being the game winner. There’s nothing better than that."Another big shooter for San Diego is first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, who nailed his 17th longball of the season Monday, tying Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Raul Ibanez for the most homers in the big leagues with a leadoff shot in the fourth inning.

Too bad they're still like 7.5 behind the Dodgers. At least they still have Peavy!
