James Shields: Way to Go, Buddy!

James Shields threw his first big league shutout this weekend in the form of a 3-0 two-hitter against the Boston Red Sox that capped a three-game sweep for the Tampa Bay Rays.

The 26-year-old righty struck out seven and sent down 10 in a row before Manny Ramirez walked to start the fifth.

After taking six straight for their longest winning streak since 2005, the Rays have hit another milestone. This marks the latest point in any season in the club's 11-year history that they've held a share of the division lead. Tampa Bay is officially three games over .500.

In the Bizarro April divisional standings, the Rays are now co-leaders with the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East.
