Carlos Lee Punishes the Ball

Carlos Lee: three home runs - one grand slam.

Morgan Ensberg added a three-run shot and the Houston Astros emerged with a 9-6 victory over the struggling Philadelphia Phillies, who are off to an incredibly sad start to a season that began with high playoff expectations.

Astros starter Roy Oswalt was uncharacteristically wild, walking six batters and allowing six earned runs in just five innings. He was nearly ejected after balking in a run in the fifth, but stayed in and struck out Jimmy Rollins to end the inning. Phil Garner was tossed shortly after returning to the bench and five Houston relievers combined for four scoreless innings.
