Can't We All Just Get Along?

It looks like dugout spats are all the rage these days. The Tampa Bay Rays are the latest team to join the quarrel bandwagon. After losing Friday to the Diamondbacks and Edwin Jackson's no-hitter and dropping 7 of their last 10 games, they've dropped to third in the AL East.

Let's not forget they've also had a perfect game thrown against them as well, so getting squashed by a few no hit games, plus losing like crazy had to start getting to them sometime.

There's a lot of speculation these days about how much longer future hall-of-famer Ken Griffey, Jr. is going to be playing. Nevermind the fact that he's 40 years old. Or that this is his 22nd season in the big leagues. Or that he's only hitting .208 this season. Or that he has yet to hit a homerun this year. Or that he doesn't play in the outfield these days because he's got all sorts of aches and pains.

None of that really made us sit up and take notice of the fact that he's at the end of his career like the latest Griffey headline: Junior was unable to pinch hit the other night because he FELL ASLEEP IN THE CLUBHOUSE.
