Kevin Millar Extends Odd Yet Impressive Streak

Kevin Millar kept his curiously amazing streak alive Thursday night, with a walk issued by Minnesota Twins starter Boof Bonser in the fifth inning of the Baltimore Orioles 5-2 loss.

Since June 20th, Millar has successfully reached base in fifty consecutive games, breaking the previous record of 49, set by Ken Singleton in 1977.

The right-handed first-baseman, who can't help but swing the bat, is hitting .264 with 12 homers and 54 RBIs this season.
