The Nationals Suck, I Missed You Guys.

There's this little thing I like to call life that has hindered my ability to blog about baseball lately. Like, for the past couple of weeks for instance.

Anyway, I've run into a small amount of free time between work and school and being a fricking rockstar. Therefore, I have time to write about baseball again -- just in time for the playoffs -- something I've missed more than anything in the world.

Ian Kennedy Hearts Grey's Anatomy

So, yet another baseball player has joined us in the competitive world of blogging. Phil Hughes launched his personal blog with proclamations of his love for NASCAR and interviews with Ian Kennedy.

Also, Phil apparently kicks Joba Chamberlain's ass at HALO.

And learn about Kennedy's "vulcan" grip on his changeup.

Batting 1.000

There are plenty of things we could use this post to write about. We could do up a Babelicious Scoreboard, talk about how Willie Harris knows Kung Fu, the Jose Molina trade, ya know, the usual.

As Barry Bonds approaches the Holy Grail of baseball records and A-Rod sneaks up on 500 homers, we've managed to hit our own milestone.

In celebration of our 1,000th post - this is it right here - we thought we'd take a look back over the evolution of this little baseball blog by throwing together a Top 10 list at the very last minute. But then we changed our minds.

That's just how we ladies roll.

Since you've been here all along, keeping things entertaining and making this blog a fun thing for us to do, we'd love it if you'd share your thoughts in the comments section.

Why do you come here, anyway?

Welcome To The Circus

As a former sideshow circus freak, I considered it fitting that Doug from Our Book of Scrap invited me to join his new blog venture entitled Epic Carnival.

The list of bloggers at this new gig is unreal. Actually, it's terrifying. The party started today and there's already flame throwing and cursing and all kinds of satire-laced shenanigans.

Check out the Ten Step Guide to Juicing for big league rookies, written by yours truly.

A New Era For Babes

From the beginning, Babes Love Baseball has been a Minnesota Twins blog. I've enjoyed the growth in readership, comments and writing about how amazing the Twins are (they'll always be the best in my eyes).

However, I've decided to expand this little blog and bring another babe on board. Welcome, Lizzy. May your Red Sox burn in hell.

We will be covering all Major League teams, MLB news, games, stories and players past and present. Especially the hot ones.

We'll cover the mishaps, the controversies, the anguish and elation.

We'll begin by profiling one team at a time up until the first pitch of the regular season. It should be fun, so stick around and spread the word!
