Despite being a pitcher by trade, he takes an amazing amount of pride in his hitting. As he should with a .346 average and .538 slugging percentage on the season.
Manager Mike Quade had this to say regarding his star pitcher's behavior:
"I don't like that. He doesn't like that. I'm glad he's OK... I get his frustration, but do something else. I cringe because he can hurt himself. Guys snap all the time, but that's a dangerous one."
Especially when they end up landing on the disabled list.
