Season Previews: Arizona Diamondbacks

With Spring Training camps already open, it's time for one of our favorite things in all the world: Season Previews. Four years ago, they began as a semi-serious analysis and ended up as half-assed haiku. We're just gonna go with what we know. Polishing off our preview of the National League West, here are the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Spankin' new ball club
Kirk Gibson's first full season
Break a leg buddy

New GM Towers
Twenty-one new players too
Interesting Spring

J.J. Putz will close
David Hernandez is new
Smokin' stove action!

Miranda at first
Mora is the hot corner
Platooning with Blum

Chris Young in center
Johnson, Drew up the middle
Nady and Upton

No more Big Unit
He's doing commercials now
We're gonna miss him

With a clean slate year
D'Backs will look for a way
Out of the cellar

I hope all the changes that have been listed will also help the team this year. Hopefully the new Spring Training home will help boost the team’s spirits so they can have a good season because it is an amazing facility! I can't wait to go to some games. The best part is the smell of fresh green Arizona sod, hot dogs and flowing beer :) I wonder if Evergreen Turf did the fields because I hear they look awesome and Evergreen has a good reputation with the Cardinal's field.

Kirk Gibson reminds me of Wyatt Earp.

The word Earp reminds me of last year's team.
