The Minnesota Twins were the first team to enter the playoffs this season, and upon meeting the New York Yankees in the ALDS, they were the first team to make an exit.
Between the lack of hitting, poor pitching, awful base-running, craptastic bullpen management, ridiculous throwing errors, etc. on behalf of the Twins, I'm not exactly sure what happened there.
This brings us to our very first There's Always Next Year post of the 2010 postseason, in good old-fashioned photo montage format.

Double sad. I wanted a Braves / Twins WS rematch. :(
Sorry for your loss Twins fans, but you couldn't have seriously thought your team was going to get past the Yankees. As much as I can't stand New York, it's reality.
So disappointing.
