There's Always Next Year, Rays Fans

Last week it looked as though the Tampa Bay Rays might be headed to another ALCS before they went and dropped the first two games against the Rangers in St. Petersburg. Then they came back to win the next two in Arlington before losing the finale to a dominant Cliff Lee Tuesday night at home while the Rangers won their first postseason series ever. Pretty impressive.

The Rays had the American League's best regular season record this year, so their 2010 wasn't a complete failure. Hang in there Rays fans, don't be sad... there's always next year!

Thanks for the nice shout out to Rays Fans, Babes. I've enjoyed reading your blog all year, and despite what some of the national media have been saying, the Rays will be back strong next year. They are loaded with young talent and will have to unload one of their great starting pitchers to make room for Hellboy to join the starting lineup. We will miss Carl Crawford terribly but look for the Rays to add a big hitter, and fill in the gaps well with their young talent.
I wish the Rangers well in kicking Yankee a**!

Love the photos!! :] I'm a Red Sox fan, and I hope the Rays are right back in it again next season b/c they're fun to compete against.

Just one thing though...you said the Rays took the first two games, but the Rangers won the first two games and then the Rays came back and won the next two in Arlington...just fyi :]
