Color me impressed. Mark Buehrle has just thrown the 18th perfect game in major league history.
The Chicago White Sox left-hander tossed 116 pitches and got six Tampa Bay Rays to strike out, but the perfection really came down to one moment: an incredible home-run robbery by outfielder Dewayne Wise with no one out in the ninth.

Anyway, we're thinking Buehrle owes Wise something a little more than a high five for his heroics. Like, a low five and maybe even one on the side, especially since he bought the entire roster sweet watches when he threw his no-hitter in 2007. Maybe a...
- new car, possibly a Bentley Continental Flying Spur
- hot date where he is sure to get laid (BLB does not condone prostitution)
- check for one million dollars

Unreal. Only 18 in the history of the game and that guy has done it.
Buehrle should be his bitch for the rest of the season. It would be one thing if it was a no-no, but this was A PERFECT GAME. One of only 18 in history. Sort of important.
how about a luxury liner cruise ship
Buehrle should buy Wise an island. Wise should name it "Perfect Island."
how about a handshake for doing what he was put in there for, his job
Good point Anonymous Commenter #2. Everyone got watches when he threw his no-no in '07.. just thought he could show Wise some love.
I'm still impressed. Too bad I hate Buehrle. I wish a less douchey hurler had done this. Oh well.
