There are few things more fetching than the smell of Spring in the air... especially when you live in Northern Minnesota, where we just received 10 inches of snow. Yes, baseball is definitely near.It's just about time to grab those crisp Opening Day tickets, hurdle the turnstiles and take your seat for your favorite team's first game of the season. Or, if you're one of those folks who has a "job" or prior engagements (though I'm really not sure what could ever take precedence over a season opener, unless your team is away) then it's almost time to crack a beer and plop down on the lazy boy to tune into the best thing to happen to winter since hand-warmers.
It's baseball season. Almost.
