Talk about ups and downs. Their latest loss was so out of control that outfielder Cody Ross ended up pitching the ninth inning. The good news? He allowed only an infield single to top off his 3-for-3 day at the plate which was highlighted by a sweet diving catch out in right field, where he started.
"We’re not an 11-1 team, and we’re not an 0-6 team—we’re somewhere in the middle," says manager Fredi Gonzalez.Yeah. That's cause you're an 11-7 team, skipper. But guess what? You still lead the National League East by 1 1/2 games over the reigning World Champion Philadelphia Phillies. (More good news!)

Get well soon, Marlins.
