Three weeks after sending Dan Haren to the Diamondbacks, the Oakland Athletics have made another big trade. They've sent fan favorite Nick Swisher to the Chicago White Sox for three prospects. That's their best pitcher and hitter for nine minor leaguers total.
The 27-year-old outfielder, who has a history of not messing around, hit .262 with 22 longballs and 78 RBIs over 150 games last season, drawing 100 walks for a career-best in patience at the plate.
