Batting 1.000
There are plenty of things we could use this post to write about. We could do up a Babelicious Scoreboard, talk about how Willie Harris knows Kung Fu, the Jose Molina trade, ya know, the usual.
As Barry Bonds approaches the Holy Grail of baseball records and A-Rod sneaks up on 500 homers, we've managed to hit our own milestone.
In celebration of our 1,000th post - this is it right here - we thought we'd take a look back over the evolution of this little baseball blog by throwing together a Top 10 list at the very last minute. But then we changed our minds.
That's just how we ladies roll.
Since you've been here all along, keeping things entertaining and making this blog a fun thing for us to do, we'd love it if you'd share your thoughts in the comments section.
Why do you come here, anyway?

"Why do you even come here, anyway?"
Because this is the best blog on the entire internets. That's why...
I think people come here because they want a perspective they wouldn't get anywhere else on the world of baseball.
I mean, sure, you could ask any Joe about baseball and they could tell you a few things. But hearing from a ladies perspective makes it all the more interesting.
Because you two are hilarious. Please see the Scott Olsen "interview" for reference if you have forgotten this.
I come here because I was promised nude photos but have yet to see any So i keep coming back.
Still waiting for my first hit from this site over at The College Baseball Blog
I return for the hard-hitting interviews, the medical insights, and the warm and friendly personalities.
Congrats--here's to the next thousand.
I come here because you me feel like my site is shit, and self inflicting pain is, after all, what I do best...
You chicas crack me up. Bottom line.
I don't even like baseball but still love coming to your site. Congrats to you both on your 1000th post.
Before BLB I was one of those guys who would sit in the bar slagging off baseball all summer and mourning the close of the NFL season.
Thanks to you gals I'm now one of those guys who rushes home from the bar to catch the game. I don't know how you did it, but you got me into Baseball and BLB is the best damned place in the ebays for results and commentary.
That and the fact that I'm totally crushing on Sooze.
I'd say you gals hit for the menstrual cycle.
Suss, that made coffee shoot out of my nose. Ow. In all seriousness, I love this site. We get lots of important baseball news without too much humor and "he's so hot" all the time. It's refreshing.
You guys (and gals) are the breast.
Cuz ya'll are awesome. You just are.
I'd say that I come here because it's funny, and the main healines and scores are also updated.
Sorry, I'm here for the Wang jokes. Congratulations anywho :)
I don't like baseball that much right now (ducks) but I love the posts, Lizzy and Sooze are witty and super-informational.
i come here because...
...I HAVE NO PLACE ELSE TO GO.
I come here for the laughs. Sooze and I have been through the internet wars together, so we have to stick together.
Happy 1,000. It may take me three more years to reach that many posts.
Because I know this is the place to find good, sound baseball commentary with a kick to it.
Congrats on the 1,000!
You gals always make us the best waffles in the morning...and you can tell us how many games behind the Cubs are in the NL Central too. Isn't that what every dude wants? A good waffle and a recap of the standings.
Speaking of blog evolution, it's been great to watch this one grow. Congrats, girls!
"Why do I even come here, anyway?" Because I love to see other babes who love baseball as much as I do. And write about it so much better!!
Because you've replaced Bat-Girl as the best XX Chromosomes to cover baseball in the Blogoshere.
Viva Beisbol!
Viva Babes!
'Cause all the cool kids are doing it.
I come here because there are pictures of old women in bikini's.
Because I am a Babe who loves Baseball. And you gals kick @ss. Nuff said.
Golf claps, ladies, golf claps.
I don't even LIKE baseball, but here I am. Because it's Sooze-and Lizzy, and if they were blogging about corn flakes I'd still read it.
I come here for many reasons:
1. You ladies make babes who love baseball look like babes who love baseball and not just the players for being cute.
2. Sooze may just be my soul mate. It's creepy.
3. You are much funnier than reading the sports page.
4. You had me at hello.
