Weaver Dumped On Bullpen DL

It seems Jeff Weaver has managed to suck his way to the Seattle Mariners' bullpen.

Along with allowing six runs on 10 hits over just five innings on Thursday, Weaver has given up at least six runs in five of his six outings this season. He hasn't even pitched more than six innings in any start thus far.

have been surrendered with 19 for extra bases over his 22 innings. So at this point, he's lucky to even have the opportunity to join the relief corps. Weaver, who has racked up an alarming 14.32 ERA, will most likely be replaced by Cha Seung Baek for the next scheduled start.
Fifty hits

Update: The Mariners believe shoulder tendinitis may be the root of Weaver's lack of control, so they've put him on the 15-day DL for further evaluation. Seattle called up lefty reliever Ryan Rowland-Smith from the AAA Tacoma Rainiers to take Weaver's roster spot.

He should have stayed in the NL. I knew that he was screwed as soon as he signed with an AL team.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm a girl or because this guy's a total moron, but some douchbag just proposed this trade with me in my other fantasy league:

His Joel Zumaya for my Carlos Delgado.

As far as Weaver goes, maybe he'll make a better long reliever. Probably not, though.

Weaver is actually on the DL now with right shoulder tendinitis.
