Tuesday's Babelicious Scoreboard

After striking out 10 batters over just six innings, Daisuke Matsuzaka walked in the go-ahead run to Gregg Zaun with bases jammed in the fourth, as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Boston Red Sox 2-1 Tuesday night... despite getting just three hits.

Matsuzaka (1-2, 2.70 ERA) retired his first eight batters and Wily Mo Pena's third-inning homer gave him a lead, but Lyle Overbay's single tied the score in Toronto's two-run fourth. This marks the second outing Dice-K has K'ed ten.

Fun fact: The last pitcher to reach double-digit strikeouts twice in his first three major league starts was the Los Angeles Dodgers' Fernando Valenzuela in 1981.

Lefty starter Gustavo Chacin (2-0, 3.57 ERA) allowed one run and six hits over 6.2 innings for the Jays, improving to 6-0 in seven starts against Boston.

I watched the Bosox game last night...Dice-K got rattled in that 1 inning....

So it just shows, this guy is vulnerable...you just have to exploit it

Yeah, you have to exploit it. He's a great pitcher and will obviously grow this season though, with more starts bringing more experience...
