The Baltimore Orioles have forgotten all about your rotator cuff, Kris Benson.
The club moved on faster than your ex-girlfriend, filling Benson's spot in the rotation with free agent righty Steve Trachsel. Trachsel!!?? I didn't even know he was still in the league! I remember playing Nintendo baseball and having him on one of the teams - I think it was the Cubs at that point...
The best part was that I mis-pronounced his name as Trash-el for a couple of weeks before my buddy corrected me.
Kris Benson has seen his last days as an O.
Extra, I hate to break it you, but Trachsel won 15 games as Met, believe it or not. If he didn't have an all-world offense supporting him, he could easily have had 15 losses...
However, as an O's fan, we could have done a lot worse.
Steve Trachsel - the king of 3:30 nine-inning games. Enjoy the extra ball for your buck, O's fans. God I'm glad he's out of the NL East.
