Oscar Villarreal agreed to a one-year contract worth $925,000 with the Atlanta Braves on Sunday, settling the club's last possible arbitration case.
The right-handed reliever could make another $100,000 in bonuses depending on how many games he starts and finishes.
Villarreal, 25, pitched in 58 games for the Braves last season, all but four of them in relief, ending 9-1 with a 3.61 ERA. Over four seasons spent mostly with the Arizona Diamondbacks, he is 21-10 with a 3.53 ERA in 172 games.
