Welcome Back Conor Jackson

YumDespite falling off the radar due to a bad case of valley fever, we haven't swayed in our love for Conor Jackson.

The Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman/outfielder, who missed the last five months of what turned out to be a really crappy season for his team, has been tearing it up in the Dominican Republic.

Jackson returned to the states Monday night after hitting .425 with two home runs, 16 RBIs and nine stolen bases in 23 games for Leones del Escogido. That's great news since valley fever, caused by fungi in desert soil and contracted primarily in the Southwest, can become extremely serious.

Welcome back, hot stuff. We get valley fever just from watching you in action.

Conor Jackson: Party Crasher

Hot.
We love Conor Jackson.

The stud first baseman hit his second homer of the season -- a solo shot ripped into the left field stands -- and drove in 3 runs for the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday, helping to spoil the San Francisco Giants' 50th anniversary party with a 8-2 victory.

The guy already has 13 RBIs on the season (12 games) and is batting a steady .333. We like that. A lot.

Okay, one more.

You're Killing Me, Conor Jackson

I'm a little disappointed in my new boyfriend's performance last night.

Sure, he's hotter than the Midsummer Classic and he plays the corner perfectly. But when he stepped up to the plate after an Eric Byrnes single in the fifth, just to ground into a double play, I felt the need to write this letter.

Dear Conor Jackson,

I'm going to give you two more chances. Going 1-for-4 with 0 RBIs during Game 1 of the NLCS is not going to cut it, buddy.

I need stamina, consistency and -- most importantly -- for you to start swinging the hard lumber I know you can.

Love,
Sooze
