Season Previews: San Diego Padres

Now that it's Spring, it's time for one of our favorite things in all the world: Season Previews. Two years ago, they began as a serious analysis and ended up as half-assed haiku. We're just gonna go with what we know. Moving right along with our preview of the National League West, here they are: the San Diego Padres.

We miss David Wells
But now there's a 1-2 punch
Of Peavy and Young

Trevor Hoffman's gone
Gotta look to Heath Bell now
To save the day/game

Poor Brian Giles
Misses his little brother
He's a Phillie now

Adrian Gonzo
Will stand on first and make fun
of David Eckstein

Kevin Kouzmanoff
Always at the hot corner
Backed up by Headley

99 losses
That's only 63 wins
Let's shoot for 80

Will Peavy be dealt
If April is Craptastic?
That would be stupid

Who doesn't miss that donut-eating fatass?

You're right, that would be incredibly stupid to deal Jake Peavy. At least they'd still have Young I guess
