The Toronto Blue Jays are on fire.Even though they brought their winning streak to double digits with an 8-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday, they remain 8.5 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East.
Great try, though!

Sure, they may be 8.5 games behind Tampa and not gonna catch them nor the Red Sox to make the playoffs. But...they are 1.5 games ahead of the Yankees, therefore knocking the Yankees down to 4th in the AL East.
The last time the Yankees finished 4th in their division was in 1992, and they still had Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Detroit in their division then.
Anyways, 2008 will mark the first time since the realignment of 1994 that the Yankees have not finished first or second in the AL East.
Halladay's pitching tonight and the Rays are up against Josh Beckett. Too soon to say 11?
Thanks for the link, Ladies! Lovin the blog - great work!
Anyone named "B.J." should get +4 saves added to his total every year.
