Joe Crede: Twins Killer

I EAT TWINS FOR BREAKFAST!
Joe Crede may seem innocent, but don't be fooled by his boyish charm. That guy murders baseballs.

The Chicago White Sox third baseman, who (along with Milton Bradley) was honored as the AL Player of the Week, went deep four times for a .611 average, driving in twelve runs.

He did quite a bit of damage over the four-game set against the Minnesota Twins, which pretty much made me hurl everywhere. Especially that one time I watched him drive in six runs on Saturday in the rain and the beer. (Yay outdoor baseball!)

The Twins Killer walked nine times, stole four bases and racked up a .647 OBP over seven games, including an 8-for-10 stint with 10 RBIs during the first three games against the Twins. Not too shabby leather, either.

But, whether you're a Sox fan or not, you just have to love Joe Crede. He gives you no choice at this point.

Speaking of the Twins getting bitch-slapped, read about my weekend in Chicago over at 10,000 Takes, where I was forced to watch my team suck at the hands of the South Siders over and over and over and over again.

Can we all just agree that this series never happened? Good.

So, how 'bout that Ken Griffey? He sure is neat.

That whole series was horrible.

Yeah, hopefully it will be a kick in the baseball pants for the Twins.

I didn't think I could hate the Sox anymore than I did before this weekend. I've been proven dead wrong.
