Zito No Longer a Complete Loser

Making his 10th start of the season, San Francisco Giants lefty Barry Zito "improved" to 1-8 with an 8-2 win over the Florida Marlins Friday.

After allowing one run on three hits over 6.1 innings, fanning five and walking four, the former ace earned his first victory since September 30, 2007.
"That’s why we’re here for, to band together and win games together," he said. "You can’t win games on your own as a pitcher, and you can’t win games on your own as a hitter."
You got that right, buddy. Barry needs all the run support he can get. Preferably more than 6 runs per game to combat his handy 5.65 ERA.

You know, if things don't work out in San Fran for Barry, Brian Sabean could always pull one of these.

Is it wrong that I hoped for him to go 0-10? I'm not even a Giants hater, just thought it would be kinda funny.
