So, instead of rehabbing his tight shoulder, Kansas City Royals pitcher John Bale punched a hotel door and broke his hand.
An MRI revealed a fracture on the side of his left hand after he felt pain upon his arrival to Progressive Field Saturday night for a game against the Cleveland Indians. Pain? That's weird!
The 33-year-old Bale, who was already on the DL for shoulder fatigue, was apparently frustrated that he was still feeling discomfort. Now, he has discomfort in his hand. Way to go, buddy!

No, sooze; John Cale is a genius. John Bale is a yutz. The confusion is understandable, though.
At least he didn't punch a person!
If he was going to punch a person, I would have recommended waiting until arriving at Progressive and punching C.C.'s soft gut.
