Prince Fielder has finally hit a home run.
Coming into Thursday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, the Milwaukee Brewers first baseman was in a 3-for-30 slump, holding onto a .241 batting average.
Milwaukee rallied to a 3-3 tie when Fielder nailed an RBI double off Kyle Lohse, who has been kicking a surprising amount of ass this season. Then, he smoked a two-run shot in the 10th to lead the Brew Crew to a 5-3 victory.
It took him 54 at bats to get that accomplished this year, after he led the National League with 50 bombs last season. Maybe he should eat a steak?
No, this is no reason to panic, Brewers fans! After 15 games in 2007, Prince also had just one longball. Then he hit 13 in May.
Carry on.

I was never worried! Okay, maybe a little.
I didn't know vegetarians could be so large.
My Spanish teacher was wearing a Fielder jersey today. I was scared.
