D'Backs Hook Up Chris Young

Talented youngster Chris Young and the Arizona Diamondbacks have finalized a $28 million, five-year contract extension, keeping the 24-year-old center fielder in the desert through the 2013 season.

Young became the first rookie in big league history to have at least 30 homers and 25 stolen bases. Batting mostly lead off last season, he nailed 32 bombs and swiped 27 bags.

Good for Chris...he's a great talent and an even better person - he will soon be the face of the D-backs franchise.
