Barry Bonds to Rays? What the Hell

If Barry Bonds goes to the Tampa Bay Rays, I'm going to laugh. Hard.

I already laughed--quite hard--when I saw that. I would've laughed a lot harder if no clubs had pursued him, though.

To tell the truth, though, I don't want him in the AL East. I liked him better in the NL West.

Can't Barry go to Japan? That would be funnier.

Though Bonds on a team mostly known for being in the cellar every year would be entertaining.

I guess it is only ME.. but I think that Barry Bonds without all his side-show BS can hit a baseball out of any park facing any pitcher the big leagues today. A team like Seattle could use his bat in the line-up and even Tampa Bay as well. He will walk twice a game and homer on the third ab. Could hit 25Hr's and walk nearly 200 times! With a guy with such a ridiculous OPS.. someone in the AL could use him as a DH. His fielding days possibly his playing days are coming to an end.. fast. I think I am not the only one who still likes Bonds out there.....

You'll laugh, but I'll be excited. He's still a great hitter, and can provide great production for a lot less than he should earn.

Seriously Eric. He'd be an amazing DH and a damn good left fielder on any club... and it'd be a love/hate relationship wherever he goes from now on.

The clubhouse will be lined up to have Bonds sign their balls...er, wait.

Man, that guy's neck is big.

Yeah - and Barry will laugh all the way to the bank.
