Now that Spring Training has started, we're continuing on with Season Previews. Last year, they began as a serious analysis and ended as half-assed haiku, which we're just gonna keep rolling with.
So long Mr. GlausHello Rolen and Eckstein
They're gritty! And tough!
Forget F-J-M
Intangibles surely count
more than stats. Right? RIGHT?
Either way- Burnett,
Halladay and McGowan
Spell trouble for bats
Vernon Wells got paid
He also got injured; so...
Will he return hot?
Stud Alex Rios
Why did they try to trade him?
Just like Delgado
One thing's for certain
Ricciardi can never be
Worse than Angelos

That picture is killing me right now.
Are those pj's? Amazing preview Mel.
Roy looks miserable.
But I dig those retro unis. I'm glad they're back- even if only for Fridays.
He looks like a long, angry Smurf.
That's just his game face. He puts it on just after New Years and then sends it to the cleaners just before Thanksgiving.
I'm going to wait for the retro whites. I bet next year they will bring those back instead of the blues.
Health is the problem.
High performance is the key,
Bad Halladay, death.
Hahahahaha... I love the retros.
Poor Halladay looks like he was forced into those against his will. I laugh every time I see that one.
Powder blues are boss.
Mullinicks wore them with style.
Look great with stirrups.
And incidentally, the Jays didn't trade Delgado. He left the team in this new-fangled player personnel scheme called "free agency".
Yes- I didn't mean they traded him. I was trying to highlight the Jays' tendency to let go of their most valued guys.
But all of that wouldn't fit in five syllables.
ha ha! :) Thank you all for the laughs. I couldn't have said anything better about those unis
