The 34-year-old righty, who failed miserably as a Dodger last season, will compete for a spot in the rotation but may end up joining the relief corps of the worst team in the AL Central.
After going 2-11 with a 5.80 ERA last year with the Los Angeles, who forced him to change up his style and delivery, Tomko was designated for assignment. He then signed with the San Diego Padres, where he went 2-1 with a 4.61 ERA in the midst of a playoff berth competition.
Tomko is a career .500 pitcher (93-92) with a 4.62 ERA over 11 seasons with six big league clubs. He is among just three hurlers since 2005 with 115 appearances and 60 starts.

When he was in St. Louis, we called him Bombko, because of his proclivity towards giving up the long ball. I wish KC all the luck in the world.
He's gonna look awesome.
1.5 Mill for a righty? Joke
