After all the nonsense of tearful goodbye letters, Curt Schilling and the Boston Red Sox reached an $8 million, one-year deal Tuesday that will keep the veteran righty where he wants to play most: with the World Series Champs.
Of course, the first to disclose the information to the media was the blowhard himself, on his blog, 38 Pitches.
Schilling, who turns 41 later this month, went 9-8 during the regular season, but regained his regular playoff form in October to go 3-0 with a 3.00 ERA in four starts to improve his postseason record to 11-2.

I love the pose that's clearly meant to maximize the attention on the ring. It's like, "LOOKIE HERE WHAT I GOT!"
Not that if I had a WS ring, I wouldn't do the same thing. I'd walk around sticking that thing in the face of every person I met.
