Warren Buffett, a billionaire investor and philanthropist, reportedly advised Alex Rodriguez to accept a contract from the New York Yankees behind his agent, Scott Boras' back. Buffett and Rodriguez have been buddies for a few years now, and A-Rod contacted him after he began to feel frustration with the aftermath of his opting out fiasco. The sides have apparently reached a 10-year deal worth a ridiculous $275 million that should be finalized early this week.
After batting .314 with 54 homers and 156 RBI, A-Rod is all but certain to win his third MVP award and second with the Yankees when the honor is announced on Monday.
"Oh yeah, this year was a magical season," he said.Magical!
Even with Rodriguez possibly back in the picture, rumors remain afloat that the Yanks are still interested in World Series MVP Mike Lowell, who would move from third base to first. Though a contract offer has not been made by New York, Lowell is looking for a fourth year that the Boston Red Sox have not been willing to shell out thus far.

no one is worth that kind of cheese.
Whoa, Mike Lowell is hot?
I feel like no one really needs to see the band in Mike Lowell's boxer briefs, brand-name or no.
Mike Lowell should stay in Boston...He hits better there. Besides, he might want to talk to Johnny Damon before leaving.
