The Yankees playoff run, and probably the Joe Torre Era came to an abrupt end tonight when the Bronx Bombers dropped Game 4 to The Tribe, 6-4. This is truly a sad day for us here at Babes, as it means Roger Clemens has most likely marched his fat, old man ass out to the mound for the last time.
I'm truly saddened for MLB's loss, as they will never actually know how good they had it without that Crisco Ass and his never ending black hole of a giant mouth and Star Jones five years ago ego.
WHO THE FUCK AM I KIDDING?!?! FUCK ROGER, FUCK THE YANKEES, SOX IN 2007!!!! Enjoy Chicago, A-Rah!!!!
Now, the pictures will do the talking...
P.S. Sarah, I know your pain, and I still love you very much.

Wow. It's funny how watching the Yankees lose can bring me almost as much joy as I would have had watching the Twins win.
It's a sick and wonderful pleasure to know that a team that spends an exorbitant amount of money can't buy the World Series. Sorry, Lizzy, but I hope the Red Sox go down next. They're no better than the Yankees in this respect, and, deep in your heart, you know it. However, they're your team and I wouldn't hold it against you to cheer for them. Just admit for all of us that they're basically the same. Hell, they spent over 100 million on a #3 pitcher!
Go Indians! Then, out of spite, I hope the National League wins the World Series...because screw the Indians, that's why.
This just proves that Boston fans have become intolerable. Red Sox fans are the new Yankees fans.
This is where we disagree, Sarah. Yankee fans don't enjoy the ride. They take no pleasure out of the season. If October doesn't end and there's not another ring, every one of the 163 games was a resounding failure. Red Sox fans bitch and moan when the team gets eliminated, but for example, last year when they didn't make the playoffs, there was no call for Tito's head. Torre has taken the Yankees to the playoffs every season he's been here. 4 championships and what, six pennants? And that's a failure according to most Yankee fans.
There was a column on ESPN today that articulated this much better than I could, but I couldn't find the link.
[insert half-hearted obligatory Clemens defense here]
I love him to death, but even I'm tiring of his routine-- and that's really saying something.
But no matter how much I heart Rog, that doesn't at all diminish my joy at their exit (again) from the playoffs. Whee!
I beg to differ Lizzy. Most Yankees fans stand behind Torre. Don't mistake the sentiments of Steinbrenner for the sentiment of the fans.
