Holy Colorado Rockies, Batman!

Um, these guys are not joking.

Kazuo Matsui, just a single short of the cycle, hit his first career grand slam and drove in a total of five runs, leading the Colorado Rockies over the Philadelphia Phillies 10-5 Thursday for a 2-0 lead in their NL playoff series.

Making just their second postseason appearance in the club's 15-year history, the Rockies just plain out-hit the Phillies for their 16th win in 17 games -- 8 straight on the road -- with five impressive outings from the bullpen after a shoddy, 3-inning Franklin Morales start. And of course, Matt Holliday homered, too.

The Phils loaded the bases with two outs in the eighth, but shady closer Manny Corpas came in not after pouring liquid all over himself as he did on Wednesday, and put an end to those cheeky shenanigans by retiring Carlos Ruiz and working the ninth for his second save in as many opportunities.

Rookie Ubaldo Jimenez will take the hill this Saturday against veteran hurler Jamie Moyer, to give the Rockies a chance to sweep at Coors Field and advance to the NLCS.
