Maicer Izturis Hits First Grand Slam

Congratulations to Maicer Izturis on hitting his first career grand slam, which aided in the Los Angeles Angels 10-1 bitch-slapping of the Minnesota Twins Friday night.

The switch-hitting third baseman launched an 0-1 Scott Baker pitch deep into the right-field seats in the sixth inning for his fourth longball of the year and second in four games.

Izturis is batting .268 with 31 RBIs and 3 stolen bases on the season.

He looks like a shaved chihuahua, don't he?

Well, he is in the majors... on the other hand, he already owns the Izturis family record for single-season home runs with five; he's tied his brother Cesar for career dingers with 11, and on his next will go on to glory forever. All hail Cesar, er, Maicer!
