Get Ready For an Awkward High Five

Congratulations to Colorado Rockies utility player Jamey Carroll on hitting his first career big league grand slam, as the Chicago Cubs took a 15-2 pounding on Saturday.

Pinch-hitting, Carroll launched a 1-2 Rich Hill pitch just over the left field wall for his ninth career round-tripper and Colorado's sixth grand salami of the season.

After a 2006 season where he hit a career-high .300 as the Rockies regular second baseman, Carroll has struggled to find his groove this year.

He watched his batting average plummet to .172 at the end of April, but has managed to wind it up to .232 here in mid-August with 2 homers and 18 RBIs in 71 games with the Rockies.

Way to go, buddy!

I do stand corrected on the goofiest looking mugshot comment.

I thought Tiger Woods and his caddy owned the awkward high five?
