Gustavo Chacín's promising young career has been hampered by yet another injury.
After spending more than two months on the disabled list with an elbow injury last season, Chacín has landed back on the DL with a left shoulder strain.
The Toronto Blue Jays' 27-year-old left-hander was off to a 2-1 start, but had not been pitching well as of late, allowing 10 runs in his last 9.2 innings.
The Jays didn't announce a corresponding move and apparently have not determined a replacement for Thursday's game at Cleveland.
