Son, Your Ego Is Writing Checks Your Body Can't Cash
Curt Schilling has announced on the worst radio station ever earlier this week that he will pitch in 2008. According to Schilling, he's not looking for a raise on his new contract, but just the opportunity to stay in Boston and pitch for the Red Sox.
The Boston Red Sox ace told the Associated Press that he is willing to negotiate a new contract with the Red Sox up until the start of the 2007 season, and if no agreement is made, he will become a free agent for the first time in his career.
Schilling's wife, Shonda, stated one of the reasons why she wanted her husband to return to baseball for another year was because she wanted "the opportunity for her youngest child to have memories of his father pitching."
How sweet.

Well, Bob Wickman's kids will have a memory of him pitching, so it's not always a good thing.
Shonda. I love that name.I love her hair on the Red Sox front page right now, too. H-O-T-T.
Sometimes Curt just speaks to just speak and get his name in the paper. Sadly, this was one of them...
