The rumors of a possible Tommy John surgery for Francisco Liriano have been quieted after a positive MRI taken on the rookie phenom's left arm showed no new structural damage. Even though this is good news, and certainly not as bad as we all had feared, Liriano will not rejoin the team in the 2006 season.
