Get Well Soon, Adam Dunn

Adam Dunn is going to miss at least 5 days after having an emergency appendectomy last night. The Chicago White Sox DH made it through twelve innings last night before leaving the game against the Royals. Pretty badass, no? You would hope he's a tough guy after the money they shelled out for him during the off season.

Speaking of the Royals... After last night's walk off win, they are still holding steady in first place of the AL Central. Granted, the season isn't even a week old yet, but still. It's been a while since they've enjoyed being on top. Let's let them enjoy it.

I think there is little question Dunn will produce. But, wow, how about those Royals?

If they can pitch, look out. :)

Jeez he's lucky it didn't explode! Hard to be a badass when you're dead... get well soon Dunn!

Well this kinda hoses one of my fantasy teams, but Morneau is just going to have to pick up the slack. In fact, if a tiny little infection sets in and causes Dunn to lose about 100 pounds and sap his strength, that would be really... um... unfortunate?

Agreed Jim, I'm torn here. I'd love for him to get well soon for one of my fantasy teams in which Adam LaRoche is my backup first baseman. On the other hand, I'd like him to get pneumonia and or staph infection to give the Twins an extra advantage in the ALC.
