Play the FanDuel One-Day Grand Slam with Us

Do you have a fear of commitment? Don't worry, I won't ask you for one, and neither will this sweet new fantasy baseball game we want you to play with us.

We understand that not everyone has time to set a lineup every day for an entire season just for an opportunity to win a few bucks by the playoffs. So what if there was a fantasy baseball season that lasted for just a day, with a chance to win some serious cash?

Boy are you guys in for a treat. Our buddies at FanDuel have a spankin' new game to play. Behold, the FanDuel Fantasy Baseball One-Day Grand Slam on Friday, April 1. A snippet:

It's the World's Biggest One Day Fantasy Baseball Contest - and you've got to be in it to win it! With $25,000 up for grabs, you can be a fantasy baseball BIG CASH WINNER by the second day of the season!

The rules are simple: choose your lineup from players who will appear in Friday's games within the given salary cap, and watch baseball all day (like you were going to anyway) to see how you stack up as a manager.

Update from Sooze: I've gotten a few emails from people wondering what my team looks like. With the salary cap, it can get tricky when you obviously want the best-of-the-best in your lineup, but here's what I came up with for the two teams I entered...

P: Dan Haren; C: Joe Mauer; 1B: Brandon Belt; 2B: Dustin Pedroia; 3B: Danny Valencia; SS: Hanley Ramirez; LF: Josh Hamilton; CF: Carlos Gonzalez; RF: Ichiro Suzuki.

P: C.J. Wilson; C: Buster Posey; 1B: Adam Dunn; 2B: Tsuyoshi Nishioka; 3B: Ian Stewart; SS: Troy Tulowitzki; LF: Carl Crawford; CF: Matt Kemp; RF: Hunter Pence. Wish me luck!

I suck at fantasy baseball, mostly because I have no idea what i'm doing, but also because I do not have the time to devote to the entire season. What a great idea this game is! The only thing is I wish you could choose who you play against. I'd take on my hubby in a second!

I can't decide which of your teams are better. Well done Sooze!
