Surprisingly, Ken Griffey Jr. was not the first Cincinnati Reds player to hurt himself this season.
Shortstop Alex Gonzalez already has a broken left knee, more specifically, a compression fracture. This is the same knee that sidelined him in September of last season, so he'll be checked out again in 3 weeks.
Gonzo hit .272 with 16 longballs and 55 RBIs in his first season with the Reds.

Hey! Watch that mouth when it comes to Ken Griffey.
;)
There are people that are still fans of Ken Griffey that aren't on his payroll? That's dedication!
