
A-Rod led the big leagues with 54 homers, 156 RBIs, 143 runs scored and a monster .645 slugging percentage. He also hit an impressive .314 average and swiped 24 bags.
After the World Series is finished, he is also expected to win his third American League MVP Award.
Rodriguez has until the tenth day after the World Series ends to decide whether to opt out of his record $252 million, 10-year contract and become a free agent. The Yankees plan to offer him an extension, but would end any talks if he does opt out.

not sure why... maybe it has something to do with all the records he'll break without asterisks behind them?
