With the Big Show on the line, the Boston Red Sox will turn to their ace righty, Josh Beckett, for a thread of hope to hang onto in light of his solid, six-inning Game 1 performance.

In a rematch of Game 1 against the Cleveland Indians, the Sox will face Tribe ace C.C. Sabathia Thursday night at 8:21pm ET (not a minute later) at Jacobs Field.
Captain Cheeseburger totally pooped the bed last Friday, allowing Boston's only victory in this AL Championship Series. Lasting just 4.1 innings, he surrendered 8 runs on 7 hits, walking 5 and striking out three.
If Game 5 goes anything like Game 1, the Indians will have the Colorado Rockies to look forward to in this year's World Series.
Bostonians are resilient folk, however. 2004, anyone?
The real question, is how level-headed is Josh Beckett?
Were the Indians trying to get under his skin when having country music singer Danielle Peck, who just so happens to be his ex-girlfriend, sing the National Anthem before the biggest game of his season?
Pretty shady.

Plus, you know, if CC doesn't strike the Sox out, he'll just eat them.
Would that make him Captain Cannibal?
It's all good in the hood.
Actually the Indians didn't originally book Peck. Taylor Swift was supposed to sing and had to cancel. Her agent then recommended Peck. I really don't think the Indians had any idea about it until after she was set to perform. Overall, they seem to be the classier team in the ALCS series.
Um... Did you mean the *red*sox?
