Your Wait is Over, Philadelphia

Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Chase Utley, sidelined for a month with a broken bone in his right hand, will return from the disabled list just in time for tonight's game against the New York Mets, who lead the Phillies by six games in the NL East.

Utley was hit by a John Lannan pitch in the fifth inning of a 7-6 loss to the Washington Nationals on July 26th.

The tough-as-nails lefty actually remained in the game and went 2-for-4, driving in a run, before having surgery the next day.

He was batting .336 with 17 homers and 82 RBIs as shortstop Jimmy Rollins' tag team partner up the middle before he was hurt.

The switch-hitting Rollins is responsible for 72 of the Phillies' runs this season, hitting .286 with 22 homers.
